Katia is an Italian actress of Belarussian descent, born in Minsk. She moved to Italy to study languages, where she began modelling to support her education. Her acting career commenced with small stage productions in Milan.
Katia gained attention after appearing in the television series “Rocco Schiavone,” based on Antonio Manzini’s crime novels and directed by Michele Soavi, where she acted alongside Marco Giallini. Her film debut occurred in 2018 when she took on the role of the superhero Cinetica in “The Invisible Boy: Second Generation” (“Il ragazzo invisibile: Seconda generazione”), a fantasy film directed by the Italian Academy Award-winning director Gabriele Salvatores. Later that year, she was featured in “The Vegetable,” a family comedy co-produced by Walt Disney Company Italy and directed by Gennaro Nunziante.
In 2019, Katia made her television debut as a co-host for the Eurogames. The following year, she appeared in two successful series: “Justice for All” (“Giustizia per tutti”), directed by Maurizio Zaccaro, and “Makari,” also directed by Michele Soavi. In 2023, she featured alongside Pierfrancesco Favino in the Italian crime thriller “Last Night of Amore” (“L’ultima notte di Amore”), directed by Andrea Di Stefano.
Katia is fluent in Russian, English, and Italian, and has some proficiency in French.
